SM125 is a lightweight, acoustical sound underlayment, scientifically designed to reduce impact and airborne noise in floor / ceiling assemblies. Performance ratings exceed UBC/IBC code requirements by more than 40%. This enhanced product features an added layer of specialized fabric resulting in increased  acoustical performance and superior bonding characteristics when used in combination with  materials such as cements, adhesives and flooring products.

The SM125 is easily rolled out, fitted, and placed onto a surface. This low-profile underlayment has multiple uses and can act as a high grade substrate for poured cements as well as receive application of most types of floor coverings, including vinyl, wood, laminate, and carpet. For use in most fire rated assemblies.
